MECO Autoclave Range
Sterile Services & Decontamination
The MECO Range is a wide range of sterilizable long-life plastic polyware products. Designed as an alternative to stainless steel products, they are ideal for use in Decontamination Services, Operating Rooms, Clinics, Surgeries and other surgical or healthcare services. Products are designed for repeated washing, disinfection and sterilization. The MECO Range of products can be processed by steam autoclaving at 135°C, Ethylene Oxide (EO) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H202). Products comply with ISO 13485 for Hospital Hollowware where applicable. Material used is polypropylene unless otherwise stated.
Reusable Medical Polyware

• Robust and hard wearing - guaranteed for 1000 cycles.
• Easy to clean - blood protein is easily removed from the surface, leaving no residue.
• 50% lighter than stainless steel, assisting users with storage, lifting and handling.
Grip feature moulded below the rim to improve holding.
Smooth edges and surfaces eliminate paper rips during packing and sterilisation.
• Can be sterilized by steam autoclaving at 135°C, Ethylene Oxide (EO) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H202).
• Can be used as standalone items or as a support component in surgical sets.
• Widely used in Sterile Services for packing instrument sets and procedure kits for the autoclave.
• Disinfection sets can be used
for manual sterilization in Sterile Services, Clinics, etc.
• Used non-sterile in hospital wards and clinics.
• Smooth corners and surfaces, reducing risk of paper rips and the need
for re-processing.
• Autoclave sterilization temperature is 134.6°C + 2°C (generally referred to as 135°C).
