Polypropylene is classified as a Class 5 Recyclable plastic material. Hospital waste products must be disposed of in accordance with regulations on clinical waste and hospital protocol. Polypropylene is suitable for incineration.
 

MECO Range
 

Material : Products are manufactured from polypropylene plastic, unless where stated in product catalog. 
 

Processing :  Decontaminate and wash in machines. Hand washing is permissible. Maximum washing temperature 90°C. Maximum sterilization temperature 135°C Compatible with Ethylene Oxide (ETO), Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilization, Electron Beam (E-Beam) and Gamma Irradiation. 
 

Single use and Reusable Hollow-ware Products
 

Material : Products are manufactured from polypropylene plastic. 
 

Processing : The Range is single-use and should not be re-processed. There are no instructions for re-

processing.

 

Single use products are however suitable for first time sterilization and packing. Maximum sterilization temperature 110°C. Compatible with Ethylene Oxide (ETO), Hydrogen Peroxide sterilization, Electron Beam (E-Beam) and Gamma Irradiation. 
 

Patient Care

Patient care range products are designed for processing in Washer Disinfection Manual washing is permitted, maximum temperature 90°C
